Fully Framed Systems
Chimney breast alcoves, truncated or unequal walls, adjacent baths and vanity units, and low ceilings or narrow widths can all easily be accommodated with our framed door designs which are despatched in a fully pre-assembled state. Other advantages of the fully framed system are profiles offering generous width adjustment for out of plumb walls, and interlocking corner profiles to facilitate installation.

The pivot door pentangle enclosure shown with green tinted glass and polished 'chrome' effect profiles, overcame a number of potential problems. A vanity unit on the left hand side, a WC on the right, a sloping ceiling at a height of 1790mm above the shower tray, only a rear wall for support, and a bath (out of the picture to the left hand side). The resultant enclosure has four glass panels; a special height, fits a 1200 x 900mm pentangle shower tray; an offset pivot which enables the door to clear the bath on opening; fully interlocking width adjusting profiles at each corner; and finally a dwarf return panel sitting on top of the adjacent vanity unit.

| The bi-fold model with bronze tinted glass and polished 'gold' effect profiles has inward opening doors for situations where the close proximity of sanitary ware precludes the use of an outward opening door. The access width is most generous - 530mm on a 760mm tray - and the linear bearing design requires neither adjustment nor lubrication. |
| The hinged door is one of the most versatile styles and can have almost any degree of framing. The particular model shown has green tinted glass, and polished silver 'chrome' effect profiles to both sides of the door which compensates for both walls being out of plumb. Most designs do not have a top frame which is advantageous for tall people, but all models have a frameless, polished edge glass door. |
| Standard 760/800mm pivot door models without fixed in-line panels, provide an offset pivot of 160mm. Such an offset permits a full 90 degree opening when a radiator is positioned in close proximity to the shower tray. When a fixed in-line panel is included such as on 1000 or 1200mm models, this is pre-assembled within the outer frame , and the dimension from the tiled wall to the pivot point increases to 560mm on the 1200mm model. The model illustrated accommodates an even larger shower tray and a vanity unit by means of a dwarf in-line panel. |
| Another common situation arises from the need to incorporate both a bath and a shower in the ensuite or bathroom. The twin door model is combined with a dwarf return panel, a feature which creates considerable light in the corner of the room when compared with the darkened effect of a full height stud wall. The tiled dwarf wall can be functional as well as a feature |
